Places to eat

Eating out in The Irish Riviera can be simple or gastronomic, traditional or exotic, there's a wide choice. Many pubs serve food during the daytime, and a number continue this in the evening. There are cafe's and fast food take-aways.

There are literally hundreds of places to eat in The Irish Riviera. Take Youghal for example; there are 3 gourmet restaurants, two Pizzeria, an Indian and two good Chinese restaurants, a dozen pubs that serve food, plus a number of  cafe's, other eateries and fast food. There are a number of good fish restaurants, and there is Ahernes. Ahernes is an institution. Rated as "one of the best fish restaurants in the world", Ahernes is deservedly world famous.
