Travelling to the Irish Riviera by sea
There are four main ferry ports for Ireland. They are
Dublin, Dun Laoghaire (just south of Dublin), Rosslare in the extreme South East, and Cork (Ringaskiddy). A number of different ferry services operate to ports in the UK and France.
The closest ports to the Irish Riviera are Cork, which is in the same area and Rosslare - an hour and a half
away. The Journey from Dublin will take about 3.5 hours, however its well worth making a day of it, and stopping en-route to see some of the sights.
