What is the booking procedure for self catering?
Make a booking request - our property owners are alerted by email, and will either accept
or decline your booking. Our property owners require their customers to pay a deposit on booking followed by the balance prior to taking occupation. Most will also ask for a
breakages deposit at the same time. The exact amounts and timing will depend on the individual property owner.
How do I see the booking terms for self catering
? On the availability calendar of each property is a blue button marked 'view booking terms'.
Or you can get a detailed quote with payment terms using the booking calendar
What happens when I make a booking request for self catering
? The property owner immediately gets sent an email alerting him/her of your request. They
will check your details and their availability and either confirm or decline your booking request. You are not making a firm booking at first (it is, after all, a request). However
your request will reserve the property for a number of hours in anticipation of your booking, and prevent other users from booking the same period.
